Privacy and transparency
Privacy and cookies policy
This policy explains the minimum processing needed to deliver the website, answer inquiries and, only with permission, measure use through Google Analytics.
Effective: September 17, 2026
1. Data controller
Rufos Technology SpA, a company established in Chile, is responsible for the processing described in this policy for rufostechnology.cl. You can contact us at contacto@rufostechnology.cl.
This website is intended for organizations and people evaluating technology services. It is not intentionally designed for children.
2. Data that may be processed
- Delivery and security: Cloudflare may process IP address, date and time, requested resource, user agent, and security signals required to deliver and protect the website.
- Optional analytics: only after consent, Google Analytics may process the canonical path without query strings or fragments, page views, selected contact channel, language, page type, pseudonymous cookie identifiers, approximate geolocation, the IP address during collection—which Google states it does not log or store—and technical browser or device data.
- Contact: if you choose email, WhatsApp, or Instagram, the data you send goes directly to the selected provider and is then used to answer your request.
3. Purposes and legal grounds
- Deliver and protect the website, prevent abuse, and maintain operational continuity based on technical necessity and our legitimate security interests.
- Understand aggregate website use and contact intent only with your consent.
- Answer inquiries, prepare proposals, and manage a contractual relationship when you initiate contact.
- Meet legal, accounting, or security obligations where applicable.
5. Providers and international transfers
We use providers that may process information outside Chile: Cloudflare for delivery and security, Google only for consented analytics, Zoho for email, and Meta when you choose to open WhatsApp or Instagram.
Each provider operates under its own terms and transfer mechanisms. We limit integrations to what is necessary and do not sell personal data.
6. Retention
The analytics preference lasts no more than 180 days. Our configuration requires GA4 user and event data to be retained for no more than 14 months. Technical logs and communications are kept only as long as required for security, support, a contractual relationship, and legal obligations.
7. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction or objection, withdraw consent, and complain to the relevant authority. Withdrawal does not affect processing lawfully completed beforehand.
8. Security, external links, and changes
We apply data minimization, encryption in transit, a restrictive content security policy, and delivery controls. No Internet-connected system can guarantee zero risk.
External links have their own policies. We may update this policy when the website, providers, or applicable obligations change; the effective date will be published here.
